With the Netspend DeepBlue Debit Mastercard, consumers can opt to receive their tax refunds.  A DeepBlue Debit Account can be opened, registered, and activated online.  

You can set up a Deep Blue Debit Mastercard account online, receive a card in the mail, and activate it if your tax preparer uses it to direct deposit your tax refund.

For more information about this card and to start the short application process, please follow these instructions:

• Click the OPEN A NEW ACCOUNT button

Enter the following details:

• First name
• Last name
• Street address
• Zip code
• Email address
• Date of birth
• Social security number
• Click the SIGN UP button

Once you have completed the application process, your new card will be mailed to your address.  You can then activate your card:

To activate your card, click the Activate Card link at the bottom of the page

The card number and security code are located on the back of the card.

Click the gray Continue button

Once your card has been activated and you are ready to make purchases, you can continue with the activation process

Enter your card number and security code

The registration process requires you to create a username and password as well as information about your security.

Logging into your Deepblue debit account online is the next step after you have registered your Deepblue debit for online access.  You will need to create a new user ID and password.

Enter your email address, card number, and CVV
